NedZink Nova is factory-preweathered NedZink Naturel, titanium zinc in accordance with DIN EN 988, an alloy based on electrolytic fine zinc with a purity of at least 99.995% zinc (Z1 in accordance with DIN EN 1179) with small amounts of alloyed copper, titanium and aluminium. In the so-called pre-weathering process, the zinc patina that naturally develops on the surface during atmospheric weathering is simulated in color and properties by a complex chemical processing process. No coating or varnishing takes place. The typical zinc properties are fully retained.
