RHEINZINK panels and strips

Since the 1960s, high-quality RHEINZINK panels and strips "Made in Germany" have been produced and are now used worldwide. The semi-finished product is manufactured in accordance with the specifications of EN 988 "Zinc and zinc alloys" in the Rheinzink rolling mill in Datteln. Panels and strips form the basic material for the roof and facade systems as well as for the complete roof drainage range. Due to the positive processing and design options of this material in practice, many skilled tradesmen use Rheinzink panels and strips to manufacture their own roof, facade and edge profiles.

QUALITY ZINC - The quality standard for construction zinc

RHEINZINK is subject to continuous external monitoring by the Technical Inspection Association TÜV Rheinland. This recognized German monitoring company has developed its own quality label for construction zinc. A quality criteria catalogue contains all material characteristics and the permitted tolerances with regard to the quality of the semi-finished product (strips and sheets).

The external monitoring is carried out unannounced six times a year by an inspector from TÜV Rheinland. The special subject of the tests are those quality characteristics that exceed the requirements of the standard, such as: B. the lower permissible thickness deviation of only ¬±0.020 mm, the lower length and width tolerances of +2.0/-0 mm and an increased yield strength (Rp 0.2).
