foil-coated soda kraft paper

Soda kraft paper, coated on both sides with polyethylene, in accordance with DIN 18560-2 for covering insulation layers under screeds.

Properties:
  • weldable with hot air
  • good flatness on the insulation
  • no wrinkles
  • efficient and robust to lay
Area of application:
  • Knauf Schrenzlage is a PE-coated special paper that is used for various applications:
    • as a cover on insulation layers under flowing screeds or conventionally processed screeds
    • as a separating layer under screeds on a separating layer in accordance with DIN 18560-4
    • as trickle protection for dry fill over wooden beam ceilings
    • as a separating layer or cover on insulation layers for bonding bubble foil elements of thin-layered Underfloor heating systems and subsequent installation of Knauf Nivellierestrich 425
    • as a separating layer on hollow floor formwork elements under flowing screeds
  • With the low sd value, it can also be installed on wooden beam ceilings
  • Knauf Schrenzlage is not a seal or moisture barrier
