VZ sludge bucket B1

The galvanized slotted bucket is ideal for street drains and is characterized by its high-quality workmanship and durability. It is the lightweight version that is similar to the DIN 4052-B1 standard.

The galvanized bucket for the street is used to catch larger particles such as dirt and sand from the draining water and is therefore also called a sludge trap bucket or, because of its narrow drains, a slotted bucket. It is hung in the frame under the manhole cover. This low-form bucket is used for a street drain that does not go very deep. It is made of sheet steel and is hot-dip galvanized. This also makes it so robust and less susceptible to rust.
