Velux covering frame EZ FK03 1000

To seal the transition between the window and the roof, every roof window requires a covering frame.
The covering frame directs the water flowing down from the roof surface past the side of the window and ensures a secure seal through which neither water, dust nor drifting snow can penetrate the roof. The covering frame
tile is suitable for a tile height of 1.5-4.5 cm. For higher or flatter covering materials, there are other covering frames suitable for your roof window. The covering frame is uninsulated and can be provided with insulation from Velux.
This is called the BDX insulation and connection set, which consists of polystyrene insulation and a connection apron.
