Knauf fire protection boards GKFI are used in all areas of interior construction as economical panelling in drywall systems with fire protection requirements in moderately humid rooms. Moderately humid rooms are rooms in which there is a permanent relative daily humidity of = 70% (e.g. domestic bathrooms). In addition, DIN EN 1995-1-1 NA allows the use in timber panel construction as external wall panelling in the area of use class 2 (e.g. as a substrate for a thermal insulation composite system).
