Anchor nails (comb nails) Ø 4.0 mm must be used to connect joist hangers to wood or wood-based materials.
The maximum load on the joist hanger is only achieved with full nailing. Partial nailing with reduced load is also permitted.
The defined load is valid for the installation state shown (see graphic). The requirements for edge and intermediate distances must be observed in accordance with the applicable standards and the installation must be carried out in accordance with the approval!
Areas of application:
The internal joist hangers are used for secondary and main beam connections or connections to supports in load-bearing wooden structures. This involves both the connection of wooden components to one another and the connection of wooden components to components made of concrete or steel. This is often done using so-called screw/nail combinations.
