Description

The Gefinex Geficell^® edge insulation strip with foil flap is the most commonly used edge insulation strip for flow screeds. Here the flow screed really only goes where it belongs. At the same time, the edge insulation strip with foil flap also has a sound-insulating and moisture-proofing effect. After the edge insulation strip has been attached to the wall, the foil flap is simply placed on the insulation layer. The screed foil is then laid. The flowing screed can then be laid.

Areas of application

The Gefinex Geficell^® edge insulation strip with foil tab (FSR-Comfort) can be used for any screed (except asphalt screed). It is preferred for flowing screed.

The welded-on foil tab is used to connect to the separating layer between insulation boards/material and the flowing screed. The Gefinex Geficell^® edge insulation strip with foil tab and adhesive strip on the back (FSR-Comfort) also enables very quick (without stapling) and simple bonding to the wall. Our edge insulation strips are also ideal for underfloor heating.

Properties

The closed-cell, highly elastic PE foam ensures high functionality in the area of the edge joints. The Gefinex Geficell^®¬† edge insulation strip has a heat-insulating, sound-insulating and moisture-proofing effect. The foil tab on the Gefinex Geficell^® edge insulation strip prevents the flowing screed from getting into the edge joints.
