BARE TILE END RAIL

BARE TILE END RAIL made of ALUMINUM. These are useful wherever tile edges are subjected to heavy mechanical stress, where clean edges or corner finishes are not guaranteed, or for decorative reasons. Processing

Laying mortar: The perforated leg is pressed into the prepared mortar bed where the tile covering is to be limited. If necessary, the fastening leg can also be filled with filler. The height of the end leg should correspond to the thickness of the tile. Leave the usual joint spacing between the tile and the tile edge and fill the joint with joint mortar.

Thin-bed installation: Also known as the adhesive method. The adhesive must be carefully applied to the prepared surface with a notched trowel. Then the BLANK TILE END RAIL is pressed into the adhesive with the perforated fastening leg. The rail is then covered with the adhesive that is pressed out. Now glue the tile flush with the end leg at the normal joint spacing and fill the joint with joint mortar.
