The ground HSS twist drill drills into metal with the highest precision. The self-centering drill bit with cross grinding and a tip angle of 135 degrees enables perfect centering without wandering. The cross grinding drill bit eliminates the need for punching or pre-drilling up to 10 mm in diameter. This precision-ground drill made of HSS steel drills 40% faster and requires 50% less contact pressure than conventionally ground HSS drills. It is suitable for drilling holes in alloyed and unalloyed steel, cast steel, cast iron, sintered iron, malleable cast iron, non-ferrous metals and hard plastic. The shaft is cylindrical (the shaft diameter corresponds to the drill diameter). It is used with drill stands and drill drivers.
