The laying aid is used in pairs and is used to lay the first layer of mortar when processing flat bricks, sand-lime bricks and aerated concrete.

The mortar leveling layer can be laid and removed precisely using the laying aid. Unevenness in the floor slab/concrete ceiling is leveled out so that a flat first layer of mortar is created. The laying aid can be folded up for transport and thus stowed away to save space.
