Warning sign narrowed roadway

The traffic sign 120 "narrowed roadway" alerts road users to a danger in road traffic
Outside built-up areas, the traffic sign 120 is placed approx. 150-250 m before the source of danger, within built-up areas, shortly before the source of danger
The sign is only placed if the narrowing is not sufficiently marked by guidance devices
The size of the sign to be selected depends on the maximum permitted speed at the place of installation
For permitted speeds up to 49 km/h, signs with a side length (SL) of 420 mm are sufficient, up to 100 km/h a SL of 900 mm and over 100 km/h a SL of 1260 mm
SL 900mm: for sections with a maximum permitted speed between 21 and 80 km/h
complies with the StVO
Leg length: 630mm, 900mm, 1260mm (depending on the maximum permitted speed)
