Outside built-up areas, the traffic sign 123 is placed approx. 150-250 m from the source of danger, within built-up areas, shortly before the source of danger
The sign is not only placed in places where construction work is being carried out on the road, but also at other work sites in the road space
The size of the sign to be selected depends on the maximum permissible speed at the place of installation
For permitted speeds up to 49 km/h, signs with a side length (SL) of 420 mm are sufficient, up to 100 km/h a SL of 900 mm and over 100 km/h a SL of 1260 mm
