Highly tear-resistant separating and first sealing layer, suitable for mechanical fixing to wooden formwork or wood-based materials. Can be used as the first layer in the two-layer system construction of flexible and vibration- or shock-prone roof structures in new buildings and renovations, in application categories K1 and K2. The self-adhesive strips in the seam area reliably prevent the welding flame from reaching the wood under the laid sheet. Due to this property, SICOTEC® can be applied directly to wood and wood-based materials. SICOTEC® can also be used as a vapor barrier on wooden substrates. Can also be used as a waterproof underlay on wooden substrates under roof coverings.
