The product

PIXX^®- Quattro Blech Lite is made of stainless steel, material number 1.4301. In contrast to PIXX^®- Duo Blech Lite, the V-shaped spikes (spikes √∏ 1.6 mm) are welded onto a stainless steel strip every 25 mm. The strip is 17.5 mm wide and has 10 holes for attachment purposes. The clear width of the spikes from tip to tip alternates between 55 mm and 150 mm, the spike height is 105 mm and the strip length is 1 m. PIXX^®- Quattro Blech Lite covers a landing area of approximately 200 mm.

The advantages

PIXX^®- Quattro Blech Lite is our "wide" version ("narrow" version see PIXX^®- Duo Blech Lite). It therefore covers a larger area to be protected, which means less work is required during installation. PIXX^®- Quattro Blech Lite can also be excellently combined with PIXX^®- Duo Blech Lite. The small spike spacing (25 mm instead of 50 mm) of PIXX^®-Quattro Blech Lite gives your object even better protection.

The principle

As PIXX^® is made of rust-proof stainless steel, rotting is almost impossible. This guarantees a long service life and you get a visually attractive, clean image. PIXX^® is easily visible to pigeons, so injuries are unlikely.

The variant

As a variant of PIXX^® - Quattro Blech Lite, we recommend the more stable version PIXX^® - Quattro Blech. In contrast to the Lite version, this has a wire diameter of 2.0 mm and a base bar width of 20 mm. This means that the spikes' "rebound behaviour" is more pronounced, i.e. the spikes offer greater resistance to the pigeon's "chest thrusting" and are less likely to bend.

The assembly

PIXX^® can be easily divided to the desired size using tin snips. PIXX^®- Quattro Blech Lite can be installed in one or more rows (over the entire surface), or combined with PIXX^®- Duo Blech Lite. If installed over the entire surface, "flying behind" is prevented and it is impossible for the pigeons to sit down. PIXX^®- Quattro Blech Lite can be attached either with screws or rivets using the holes provided in the strip, or simply with a suitable adhesive. Please note that the surface must be dry and free of dust and grease when gluing; a coat of a suitable primer may be advisable.
