The product

PIXX^®- Duo Blech Lite is made of stainless steel, material number 1.4301. The V-shaped spikes (spikes √∏ 1.6 mm) are welded onto a stainless steel strip every 50 mm. The strip is 17.5 mm wide and has 10 holes for attachment purposes. The clear width of the spikes from tip to tip is 65 mm. The spike height is 110 mm. The entire strip is 1 m long. PIXX^®- Duo Blech Lite covers a landing area of approximately 115 mm.

The advantages

PIXX^®- Duo Blech Lite is our "narrow" version ("wide" version see PIXX^®- Quattro Blech Lite). It is ideal for attaching to window sills, balcony parapets, wall projections, railings or similar, anywhere where only small areas need to be covered. PIXX^®- Duo Blech Lite gives your object optimal protection.

The principle

As PIXX^® is made of rust-proof stainless steel, rotting is almost impossible. This guarantees a long service life and you get a visually attractive, clean image. PIXX^® is easily visible to pigeons, so injuries are unlikely.

The variant

As a variant of PIXX^® - Duo Blech Lite, we recommend the sturdier version PIXX^® - Duo Blech. In contrast to the Lite version, this has a wire diameter of 2.0 mm and a base strip width of 20 mm. This means that the spikes' "rebound behaviour" is more pronounced, i.e. the spikes offer greater resistance to the pigeon's "chest thrusting" and are less likely to bend.

The assembly

PIXX^® can be easily divided into the required dimensions using tin snips. PIXX^®- Duo Blech Lite can be installed in one or more rows (over the entire surface), or combined with PIXX^®- Quattro Blech Lite. If installed over the entire surface, "flying behind" is prevented and it is impossible for the pigeons to sit down. PIXX^®- Duo Blech can be attached either with screws or rivets using the holes provided in the strip, or simply with a suitable adhesive. Please note that the surface must be dry and free of dust and grease when gluing; a coat of a suitable primer may be advisable.
