The SDS max-9 break-through drill bit is ideal for drilling large and deep holes in concrete. Its 3-cutter carbide fine centre point is vacuum brazed and hardened to ensure fast results and good removal of large pieces of material. The long, conical shank of the drill bit enables breakthrough drilling, while its double-spiral U-shape ensures good removal of drilling dust. The drill bit is designed for breakthroughs with diameters between 45 and 80 mm in concrete, masonry and sand-lime brick, e.g. for fastening cables and pipes outdoors. It is designed for use with rotary hammers.
