The HSS step drill bit drills smooth and burr-free holes of various diameters. It is ideal for drilling and enlarging holes. Centre-punching is not necessary as the cross-ground drill point makes drilling easier. The CNC-milled spiral flute optimally removes swarf and enables even drilling. Axial and radial relief grinding enable maximum cutting performance and absolutely smooth results. The step drill bit is suitable for thin material made of non-ferrous metal, stainless steel and plastic as well as sheet steel and plastic sheets. The step drill is made of HSS steel and is extremely durable when used with coolant. The easily recognisable and permanent diameter markings in both spiral flutes are lasered.
