Description

The Gefinex ^Geficell® edge insulation strip with foil flap is the most widely used edge insulation strip for flowing screeds. Here, the flowing screed really only goes where it belongs. At the same time, the edge insulation strip with foil flap also has a sound-decoupling and moisture-barrier effect. Once the edge insulation strip has been attached to the wall, the foil flap is simply laid on top of the insulation layer. The screed foil is then laid. The flowing screed can then be laid.

Areas of application

The Gefinex ^Geficell® edge insulation strip with foil flap (FSR-Comfort) can be used for any screed (except asphalt screed). It is preferably used for flowing screeds.

The welded-on foil flap is used to connect to the separating layer between the insulation boards/material and the flowing screed. The Gefinex ^Geficell® edge insulation strip with foil flap and adhesive strip on the back (FSR- Comfort) also enables very quick (without stapling) and easy bonding to the wall. Our edge insulation strips are also ideal for underfloor heating systems.

Properties

The closed-cell, highly elastic PE foam ensures high functionality in the area of the edge joints. The Gefinex ^Geficell® edge insulation strip has a heat-insulating, sound-decoupling and moisture-barrier effect. The foil flap on the Gefinex Geficell® edge insulation ^stripprevents the flowing screed from entering the edge joints.
