HECO-TOPIX , disc head, T-Drive

The properties of the HECO-TOPIX disc head are completely designed for structural timber construction. It has a larger head diameter and, thanks to this enlarged clamping surface, can bear significantly higher loads than countersunk head screws. At the same time, it significantly reduces the number of fixing points required. The partially threaded version has shank ribs that reduce the screw-in torque and create a stress-free connection. The optimised thread pitch makes screwing in easier and quicker. In addition, the patented HECO-TOPIX point ensures a reduced splitting effect and enables fast screwing without pre-drilling or countersinking. The result: fast and secure installation with up to 30 per cent less processing effort.
