HECO-TOPIX-Therm 8.0 x 200, countersunk head with milling pockets, T-Drive

The HECO-TOPIX-Therm double-thread screw is especially suitable for use with low-strength insulating materials. With its two threads, it enables a spacer screw connection in which the underhead thread fixes the counter batten. Affecting forces such as wind suction and pressure loads are absorbed exclusively via the thread in the counter batten and transferred to the rafter. This prevents the counter-batten from pressing into the insulating material. Compared to conventional fixing variants, HECO-TOPIX-Therm offers advantages in terms of processing and material costs. In combination with HECO-TOPIX-CC, it forms a further system for efficient façade and on-roof insulation. Here, the shear forces are absorbed by means of a shear timber in conjunction with the HECO-TOPIX-CC. This system also requires significantly fewer fixing points than conventional solutions. In addition, the HECO-TOPIX-T is screwed in at an angle of 90° to the roof pitch, which significantly simplifies installation compared to other systems.
