HECO-UNIX the fully threaded screw with the contraction effect in the HECO-UNIX-plus and HECO-UNIX-top versions
The HECO-UNIX has a full thread with a variable pitch
This decreases steadily in the centre area and is smaller in the rear thread area than in the tip area of the screw
Due to the variable thread pitch of the HECO-UNIX, the timber components are pulled together when screwed in
This means that fully threaded screws can also be used for timber-to-timber connections without having to preload them
This makes the work easier and significantly faster
The components are additionally fixed axially by the full thread
This prevents the negative effects of creep and shrinkage of the wood when using partially threaded screws
In addition, panel materials are already clamped to the substructure before the head support is reached
The head therefore does not have to be countersunk unnecessarily deep
Tip with milling ribs, for gap-free screwing in with small screw spacings
