HECO-UNIX-top plank screw, raised countersunk head with milling rib, T-Drive
The HECO-UNIX plank screw pulls the wooden components together and simultaneously fixes them axially via the thread. This not only allows quick and cost-saving installation, but also reliably prevents annoying creaking of the wood covering on the screw shaft. As the loads are transmitted through the thread, the head is only used to hold a drive and can therefore be very small. It can be used in the narrow installation environment of the tongue and groove to save space and does not protrude into the adjacent component. This ensures a precise connection of the profiled timber. In addition to the head and thread, the HECO-TOPIX point offers a further advantage when processing tongue and groove: the patented HECO-TOPIX drill point reduces the splitting effect so that it can be used in the thinnest cross-sections with small edge distances.
