Knauf impregnated building boards are used in all areas of interior construction as economical panelling in dry construction systems in moderately damp rooms. Moderately damp rooms are rooms in which there is a permanent relative daytime humidity of = 70 %, such as domestic bathrooms. In addition, DIN EN 1995-1-NA permits the use in timber panel construction as external wall panelling in the area of service class 2 (e.g. as a substrate for a thermal insulation composite system).
