Edge insulation strips for screeds

Mineral wool edge insulation strips for acoustic decoupling of floating screeds from rising building components
and as non-combustible edge strips for fire protection requirements.

Properties:

Non-combustible
Heat and sound insulating
Water-repellent
Resistant to deformation and ageing

Execution:

Mark the finished height of the screed on all rising components and edge insulation strips with top edge at least 5 mm higher than the finished height. The edge strips must protrude above the top edge of the screed, at least up to the surface of the top covering.
Ensure that there are no gaps when laying. If necessary, arrange 2 strips on top of each other. Mask off joints in the edge insulation strips to avoid creating mortar bridges (sound bridge!).
