Knauf N 440
Gypsum-based floor levelling compound from 10 to 40 mm

N 440 is a ready-mixed dry mortar containing calcium sulphate type CA-C25-F6 according to EN 13813.

Area of application:

N 440 is used as a bonded screed, as a screed on a separating layer (final screed thickness at least 25 mm), as a self-levelling levelling layer in layer thicknesses of 10 to 40 mm on unfinished floors and ideally on calcium sulphate substrates (including heated screeds) indoors. For creating smooth, seamless floor surfaces, levelling floor unevenness and deviations from dimensional tolerances in accordance with DIN EN 18202 before laying ceramic tiles and slabs, marble and natural stone coverings, resilient coverings, carpets, parquet and laminate. For full-surface levelling under parquet, the layer thickness must be at least 3 mm. Can also be used as a thin-layer underfloor heating system in composite, on separating layer and on insulating layer, see FE22.de, Knauf thin-layer heating screed systems. As levelling on properly sanded mastic asphalt surfaces of quality classes IC10 and IC15. The requirements of DIN 18365 apply for floor covering work.
