Knauf screw anchor STR U 2G
Screw anchor for fixing WARM-WAND systems

Screw anchor for countersunk or flush mounting for Knauf WARM-WAND systems. The anchor sleeve is made of high-quality plastic with a predetermined crumple zone.
Accessories available include EPS (white/grey) and mineral wool roundels, EPS plugs and matching anchor plates.

Properties:
  • Economical dowel lengths thanks to minimum anchoring depth of 25 mm (aerated concrete 65 mm)
  • Safety due to maximum characteristic loads
  • 100 % setting control, non-anchored anchors are recognised immediately
  • For flush and countersunk installation
  • Use for EPS, mineral wool, wood fibre and high-performance insulation materials
  • For extra-thick insulation thicknesses up to 400 mm
  • Permanent contact pressure
  • Pre-assembled screw for quick installation
Area of application:
  • Is suitable for the statically relevant fixing of insulation materials of the Knauf WARM-WAND systems
  • Recessed installation with round holes or flush installation with plugs is possible
  • For mineral wool insulation materials, the anchor can be combined with anchor plates with a diameter of 90 mm or 140 mm for flush surface installation and with VT 2G for countersunk installation
  • Can be used on all common anchoring substrates such as concrete, solid and perforated bricks, porous lightweight concrete and aerated concrete (utilisation categories A, B, C, D and E)
  • Can also be used for weather shells (three-layer panels)
