The gravel stop moulding must be fixed in place with a suitable adhesive. A suitable load-bearing substrate and structure must be provided as a base for the balcony and terrace slabs. Suitable gravel/chippings must be properly compacted. The gravel stop strip must not be subjected to loads and movements of the balcony and terrace slabs.
