KG pipe penetrations
The KG pipe penetrations are pressurised water-tight wall and floor penetrations for in-situ concrete, double wall and precast concrete areas, for the simple and secure connection of KG and HT pipes.
The KG pipe penetrations consist of a stable solid wall pipe material, to which a push-fit socket is moulded at both ends. The KG pipe ducts are manufactured from a single piece. There are no glued joints. This provides additional protection against damage during concreting and against damage at a later date, e.g. due to ageing or embrittlement of the adhesive and thus subsequent joint formation and leaks.
A circumferential water barrier is attached to the centre of the KG pipe penetrations to prevent moisture from penetrating into the building. This water barrier consists of a specially developed plastic compound that is highly resistant to a wide range of media. The water barrier is firmly attached to the pipe surface with a stainless steel clamping band. The standard scope of delivery includes two plastic covers with nail edges to aid installation within the formwork. The KG pipe penetrations offer watertightness up to a water pressure of 7 bar.
