NedZink Nova is factory pre-weathered NedZink Naturel, titanium zinc according to DIN EN 988, an alloy based on electrolytic fine zinc with a purity of at least 99.995 % zinc (Z1 according to DIN EN 1179) with small amounts of added copper, titanium and aluminium. In the so-called pre-weathering process, the colour and properties of the zinc patina on the surface that occurs naturally during atmospheric weathering are simulated by a complex chemical treatment process. No coating or painting takes place. The typical zinc properties are completely retained.
