The Secco horizontal barrier sticks are the next evolutionary step in horizontal barriers
The sticks contain a solvent-free combination of silanes (hydrophobisation) and siloxanes (resins)
The siloxanes narrow the pore diameter so that water can no longer penetrate, the silanes make the edges of the pores water-repellent so that water cannot rise upwards
The mixture penetrates the wall former via osmosis and diffusion and thus forms an effective barrier against rising water
