RHEINZINK-sheets and tapes

High-quality RHEINZINK sheets and strips "Made in Germany" have been produced since the 1960s and are now used worldwide. The semi-finished products are manufactured in accordance with the specifications of EN 988 "Zinc and zinc alloys" at the Rheinzink rolling mill in Datteln. Sheets and strips form the basic material for the roof and façade systems as well as for the complete roof drainage range. Due to the positive processing and design possibilities of this material in practice, many specialised tradesmen use Rheinzink sheets and strips for the production of their own roof, façade and edge profiles.

The range of semi-finished products available is extensive:

QUALITY ZINC - The quality standard for structural zinc

RHEINZINK is subject to continuous external monitoring by the TÜV Rheinland technical monitoring organisation. This recognised German monitoring company has developed its own quality label for structural zinc. A catalogue of quality criteria contains all material characteristics and the permitted tolerances with regard to the quality of the semi-finished product (strips and sheets).

External monitoring is carried out six times a year by an unannounced TÜV Rheinland inspector. The tests focus in particular on those quality characteristics that exceed the requirements of the standard, such as the lower permissible thickness deviation of only ±0.020 mm, the lower length and width tolerances of +2.0/-0 mm and an increased yield strength (Rp 0.2).
