SikaCor® Active Primer Rapid

Actively pigmented 1-component primer for hand-rusted surfaces, old coatings, sweep-blasted galvanisation as well as directly on steel, stainless steel and aluminium.

Properties:
  • Low solvent content, therefore low environmental impact
  • VOC content approx. 350 g/ltr.
  • Versatile with 1-component top coats and SikaCor ZP Primer
  • High coverage Thick layer and easy to apply
  • Fast drying
Area of application:
  • Primer coat for surfaces and objects where only limited surface preparation (mechanical or manual rust removal) is possible or economically justifiable. Can be used as a high-quality primer for surface preparation Sa 2 ½ directly on steel as well as on stainless steel and aluminium or sweep-blasted galvanisation.
  • Suitable for atmospheric corrosion protection and for occasional exposure to condensation.
  • Ideal as an adhesion promoter on firmly adhering old coatings
