Sikaflex Pro 3

Sikaflex® PRO-3 is a 1-component polyurethane-based sealant that is characterised by its high mechanical resistance with a permissible total deformation of 25%. Sikaflex® PRO-3 cross-links with air humidity to form an elastic sealant.

  • Testing in accordance with the construction and testing principles for waste water systems, SKZ Würzburg
  • Declaration of no objection to contact with food, ISEGA
  • Cleanroom: CSM TVOC tested (ISO-AMC Class-6.8)
  • Cleanroom: CSM Biological resistance - very good
Area of application:
  • Movement and connection joints in interior and exterior floors in concrete and screed that are exposed to stationary loads or rolling traffic, in warehouses, production halls, courtyards, car parks, underground car parks, tiled floors in entrance halls, stairwells, shopping arcades, public buildings, etc
  • Due to its low notch sensitivity and high tear resistance, Sikaflex® PRO-3 is very well suited for surfaces that are subject to regular machine cleaning. Nevertheless, care must be taken to ensure that the joints are not destroyed by hard cleaning brushes. Additional chemicals used may reduce the resistance
  • Floor and connecting joints in heavily used areas
    • Yard areas, handling areas
    • in ceramic floors, e.g. food industry, dairies, etc.
  • Joints in sewage and wastewater treatment plants with municipal wastewater, e.g. pre-aeration tanks, primary clarifiers, aeration tanks, secondary clarifiers
  • In catch basins, sewers, water channels, drainage facilities, pipes, pipe penetrations, floor drains
  • Joints in tunnelling
  • Joints in clean rooms
