The intelligent design of a SoRoTo® 6M conveyor belt is well suited for craftsmen who need a slightly longer conveyor belt that is still easy to move. It is easy to move because the frame is made of lightweight aluminium, which significantly reduces the weight of the conveyor belt. The weight distribution of the belt has been developed to achieve an optimum centre of balance so that the conveyor can be moved by a single person.

The ideal position for the transport trolley has been marked so that the user can achieve the optimum centre of gravity. This means that it is always easy to locate the centre of gravity. The transport chassis is included in the scope of delivery together with the conveyor belt and a standard feed box.

Robust and durable machine

Although a SoRoTo® 4.5M conveyor is made of lightweight materials that make it very easy to handle, it is still a robust machine designed for the harsh conditions of a construction site in all kinds of weather conditions.
The balance between lightness and durability has been incorporated into the design of the conveyor belt, which is made of "PVC" - a more durable and lighter material compared to traditional rubber. It is suitable for all types of transport work, including rubble, soil, sand, gravel, concrete, etc. The belt is fitted with 100 mm carriers as standard, but you can also choose 30 mm carriers if you want to transport light materials such as hay. If you need to transport liquid materials, such as wet mortar, a belt without flights is also an option.

As mentioned in the introduction, the SoRoTo® 6M conveyor belt is designed to be easily handled and moved by one person. However, the conveyor also has a number of other useful features, such as the self-cleaning holes in the base plates, which make it self-cleaning and therefore incredibly easy to maintain. This also improves the operational safety and service life of the conveyor belt.

Another important aspect of the base plates is the fact that they are modular. This means that you can simply replace a module if it becomes defective - so you don't have to replace all the plates at once. This is not only financially advantageous, but also a sustainable solution in terms of reducing material waste.

Like all other SoRoTo® conveyor belts, the SoRoTo® 6M conveyor belt has what is known as an "open design", which makes cleaning the machine easier as you don't have to dismantle the machine to access certain areas.
