Installation instructions:
1.) The adjusting screw is screwed completely through the battens into the wooden substrate like a standard chipboard screw or wood screw.
Important:
The head of the adjusting screw is only ever fully countersunk into the wood when the battens and the wooden substrate are lying on top of each other without a gap (if there are large gaps, it may be advisable to use spacer blocks).
2.) The fully screwed-in adjusting screw is adjusted to the desired distance by unscrewing it anti-clockwise. Readjustment is possible in any screw direction. The screw length must be selected so that the thread is fully screwed into the substrate!
Areas of application:
The wood/wood adjusting screw is used specifically for the spacing of wooden structures on wooden substrates in the area of ceiling and wall panelling. With the aid of the adjusting screw, the distance between the component (battens) and the substrate can be individually and continuously adjusted by simply screwing the screw in and out.
