Installation instructions:

Depending on the decking boards/planks to be used, the appropriate substructure must be selected.

Recommended installation distance of the substructure 50-60 cm = approx. 35 screws per m²
Each support point of the boards on the substructure must be fixed with two screws
The recommended joint spacing of the planks is 4-7 mm, depending on the type of wood

Important processing information:

Depending on the density and moisture content of the wood, it may be necessary to pre-drill the wood. It is recommended to screw in the stainless steel A2 decking screw at a low speed. Pre-tests are generally required. To achieve a perfect installation result, the wood to be laid should have a moisture content of 16% +/- 2%.

For an absolutely perfect installation appearance, we recommend countersinking the drill holes with our drill bit with countersink (art. no. 181 900 009 75 or 181 900 000 75).

Areas of application:

The A2 stainless steel decking screw is used for fastening decking and floor coverings in outdoor areas due to its high resistance to weathering. It creates a perfect connection and is particularly suitable for medium and hard woods (e.g. Bangkirai, Bilinga, Cambura, Douglas fir, Garapa, Jatoba, Siberian larch, Red Balau).
