Installation instructions:
When installing rafter purlin anchors, anchor nails (comb nails) Ø 4.0 mm must be used. The timber components to be connected must be the same width and have a thickness greater than the penetration depth of the nails in the component.
To prevent the connected timber components from twisting, at least two rafter purlin anchors must always be used per connection. The exact number of rafter purlin anchors required depends on the respective load.
During installation, the requirements of the timber construction standard regarding edge and end distances as well as the installation instructions in accordance with the approval must be observed.
Areas of application:
Rafter purlin anchors can be used for connecting intersecting timbers of any type, for securing the position of beams on purlins and walls, for absorbing wind suction in rafters (avoiding twisting) and for absorbing forces acting in the longitudinal direction of the rafter purlin anchor. The rafter purlin anchor can also be used to suspend clamps under purlins or collar beams.
