Oncoming traffic priority sign

The traffic sign 208 "Priority of oncoming traffic" is placed in front of a narrow carriageway and indicates to the road user that there is not enough space to drive on it in several lanes
Which direction of traffic should be given right of way depends on the local conditions and the volume of traffic
In addition, the person obliged to wait must allow an oncoming vehicle to pass if it is approaching the bottleneck earlier or is travelling too fast
The size of the sign to be selected depends on the maximum permitted speed at the installation site
For authorised speeds up to 20 km/h, signs with a diameter of 420 mm are sufficient, up to 80 km/h a diameter of 600 mm and over 80 km/h a diameter of 750 mm
