Knauf Grundol
Silicone resin-reinforced deep primer

Knauf Grundol is a ready-to-use, silicone resin-reinforced, finely divided, water-based deep primer
based on a synthetic resin dispersion, solvent- and plasticizer-free and alkali-resistant.

Properties:

Area of application:

Indoor and outdoor use, on

• gypsum, gypsum/lime, lime and also lime-cement plasters,
• gypsum and gypsum fiberboard,
• gypsum wallboard,
• prefabricated screed made from

- cement-bound boards (e.g. Knauf AQUAPANEL® Cement Board Floor),
- gypsum and gypsum fiberboard (e.g. Knauf Brio),

For equalizing different absorbency, surface hardening, for binding building dust before applying:

• tiles
• wallpaper
• paint coatings (e.g. Knauf Diamantweiss ELF)wallpaper

Binds slightly chalky but firmly adhering and load-bearing emulsion paint coatings and provides a certain degree of moisture protection (not a vapor barrier!) for gypsum components.
