As the lower or upper sealing layer of a multi-layer sealing for new construction and renovation, according to DIN 18531 in application categories K1 and K2, for roofs of all inclines and subject to the highest levels of stress. Particularly suitable for new installations on flexible roof structures that are susceptible to vibration or shock. When installed as the top layer, the required protective layer must be created using heavy surface protection, e.g. 5 cm of gravel. POLAR is laid loosely on uncoated mineral fiber with an overlap of 8 cm and mechanically fixed or welded over the entire surface of a mineral fiber with bituminized surface.
