Knauf Sockel-Dicht
Sealing compound for moisture protection in the plinth area

Sockel-Dicht is a mineral, highly-modified and elastic sealing compound primarily for moisture protection at the base of buildings and for sealing structures against ground moisture, non-accumulating seepage water, non-pressing surface water and in the bond under tile and slab coverings.Sockel-Dicht is applied to base plasters, ETIC systems, concrete and coatings of mortar group P II, P III and P / Org. 1 in 2.5 mm thickness.

Area of application:

Mineral, highly-modified and elastic sealing compound
- for sealing against ground moisture and non-accumulating seepage water on floor slabs (DIN 18195-4, section 7.4)
- for horizontal sealing in and under walls (DIN 18195-4, section 7.2)
- for waterproofing external wall surfaces (DIN 18195-4, Section 7.3, including building plinths in the splash water area)
- for sealing against accumulating seepage water (DIN 18195-6, Section 9)
- for waterproofing against water pressing from the inside (water tanks, water storage basins, etc.; DIN 18195-7), filling height of water basin max. 4 m
- as bonded waterproofing under tile and slab coverings of stress classes A1 / A2 and B, filling height of water basin max. 4 m
- for bridging emerging and moving cracks up to a maximum of 0.2 mm
