BARE TILE END RAIL

BARE TILE END RAIL. The tile plastic profile is designed to solve corner and edge problems when processing tiles that have unglazed edges and where tile edges are exposed to low mechanical stress. The tile plastic profile is made of solid-colored hard plastic, so it is insensitive to scratches.

Processing

Mortar laying: The perforated leg is to be pressed into the prepared mortar bed where the tile covering is to be limited. If necessary, the fastening leg can also be filled with filler. The height of the end leg should correspond to the thickness of the tile. Leave the usual joint distance between the tile and the tile end edge and fill the joint with joint mortar.

Thin-bed laying: Also known as the adhesive method. The adhesive must be carefully applied to the prepared surface using a notched trowel. Then the BLANK TILE END RAIL is pressed into the adhesive with the perforated fastening leg. The rail is then covered with the adhesive that is pressed out. Now glue the tile flush with the end leg at the normal joint spacing and fill the joint with joint mortar.
